COUNTING OF AEROBIC THERMAL MICROORGANISMS VIABLE IN WATER OF STERILIZERS USED IN SLAUGHTER ROOMS
Abstract
One hundred and eight water samples were collected of instruments sterilizers in bovines slaughter room of two meat industries with S.I.F. in Goiânia-GO. The samples were microbiological analyzed in the Plate Count Agar (P.C.A.) after they were collected in the beginning, half and ultimate stages of knock travels. During the knock travels the water temperature was measured at one hour intervals, showing variations that reached lower levels permitted according the law. The results of microbiological analysis were not significant.
