SCARABAEIDAE OCURRENCE INDICATNG PRESENCE OF Macropophora accentifer (Olivier, 1795) LARVA IN CITRIC PLANTS
Abstract
The behavior of Euphoria lurida (Fabricius, 1775) and Gymnetosoma holocerices (Blanchard, 1843) (Coleoptera-Scarabaeidae) was studied, showing presence of coleoborer Macropophora accentifer (Olivier, 1795) boring the trunk subcortical area and branches of citrus plants, at the very beginning of the attack.
