Abstract

The present experiment was carried out with the objective of evaluating the influence of periods of 1ight on the growth of Helminthosporium turcicum PASS, under laboratory conditions. The applications of fluorescent 1ight did not influence the growth of the fungus. However, they significantly inhibited the formation of spores.
