CONTAGIOUS FOOTROT IN SHEEPS AND GOATS IN THE STATE OF GOIÁS (BRAZIL)

Abstract

The authors describe the occurrence of on outbreak of CONTAGIOUS FOOTROT in Itapirapuã County, Goiás State, in a herd of approximately 300 sheep and goats, of which 80% were affected. The diagnosis was established by means of clinical observation and laboratory test. Formol at 10% was used as the treatment, with good results.
