PRELIMINARY ESSAY OF NPK FERTILIZATION IN COMMON BEAN (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) FOR SOME SOILS OF GOIÁS STATE, BRAZIL
Abstract
Tests were carried out in different places and years for several kinds of soils in Goiás State, Brazil, in order to get answers to the application of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium for dry beans (Phaseolus vulqaris L.) “cultivar” Rico 23. It was used the experimental design 2x2x2 in randomized blocks with the level 0-30, 0-60 and 0-20 Kg/ha of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, respectively. The fertilizer was placed in the planting furrow. The experimental data (Yield) showed significance for different kinds of soils when applied different types of nutrients, as well as for the interactions among nutrients. Significance to nitrogen only was verified at the soils with high and medium, level of fertility, however to phosphorus was verified at the medium and low level of fertility. Response to potassium was verified only in low fertility soils.
