Abstract

In the study of 653 calving data of nelore cattle on the region of Goiânia for the period of 1953 to 1973 it was observed that calving peak occurred in August as a natural consequence of better fertility in November. It was also observed an increased number of calving in March as a consequence of a better fertility after weaning in May.
