Abstract

A tomato leafminer Scrobipalpuloides absoluta control trial with a new insect growth regulator was carried out in Goiânia, Goiás State, Brazil. The azaradictin (Azatin 3%) at 36, 42, and 48 g a.i./ha was compared to abamectin at 14.4 g a.i./ha, Cartap at 480 g a.i./ha, and a witness with no insecticide control. Data showed that Azatin 3% at the levels tested did not efficiently control the tomato S. absoluta.
