Abstract

The present work was done in the annexes of Zootechny Department Veterinary School of Federal University of Goiás, in Goiânia, from January to April, 1986. The objective was to determine the oxalic content of andropogon grass (Andropogon gayanus var. bisquamulatus cv. Planaltina) at different cutting ages (40, 54, 68 and 82 days of regrowth and cutting uniformization). To study the oxalic acid content, a randomized blocks design was adopted with 5 replications. Average contents of oxalic acid were determined. The information obtained by the present work permitted to conclude the pasture formed with andropogon grass present.
