PREVALENCE OF AGGLUTININS ANTILEPTOSPIRA IN SWINE OF THE GOIÁS STATE, BRAZIL

Abstract

156 swine, in 9 counties of the state of Goiás, Brazil, were examined by the rapid microscopic agglutination test. There were 31.5% positive reactions for different serotypes. Based on the frequency of positive reacting for the utilized serotypes, the serotypes grypothyphosa (27.6%) was the most frequent, followed by wolffi (3.9%).
