SOIL TEMPERATURE STUDY IN DARK RED DYSTROPHIC "OXYSOIL" IN GOIÂNIA, GOIÁS

Soil temperatures regimes in dark red dystrophic oxysoil were studied in Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil. Data were collected at ";Escola de Agronomia e Engenharia de Alimentos"; wether station, in Federal University of Goiás. A large average soil temperature variation was observed at different depths during the year, with the smallest values corresponding to the winter months. The highest observed temperature was 40.1°C, in September, on the soil surface; the lowest was 18.3°C that was observed at ten centimeters below the surface, in July.
