Formación de profesionales de salud mediante simulación clínica para el manejo de la hemorragia postparto: una revisión integradora

Objetivo: identificar el impacto de la formación de profesionales de salud a través de la simulación clínica en el manejo de la hemorragia posparto. Método: revisión integradora realizada en septiembre de 2023 en las bases de datos LILACS, SciELO, BEDENF y MEDLINE/PubMed, que buscó responder a la pregunta "¿Cuál es el impacto de la formación de profesionales de salud a través de la simulación clínica para el manejo de la hemorragia postparto?". Los descriptores utilizados fueron: Postpartum hemorrhage, Simulation Training e Health Personnel. Para el proceso de cribado y selección se utilizó el Transparent Reporting of Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses, y para evaluar el rigor metodológico y el nivel de evidencia de los estudios seleccionados se utilizó el Critical Appraisal Skills Programme. Resultados: se incluyeron 13 artículos publicados en revistas internacionales y en inglés, con una prevalencia de nivel de evidencia 3 (n = 9). El entrenamiento con simulación mejora la confianza, las habilidades y los conocimientos de los profesionales. También ayuda a reducir la morbilidad materna, aumentar el uso de medicación específica y los procedimientos quirúrgicos relacionados con el tratamiento de la hemorragia posparto. Conclusión: la formación en simulación clínica promueve mejoras en el manejo de la hemorragia posparto, favoreciendo la reducción de la mortalidad materna.
