The variable frequency was compared to Accurate Test of Fisher or Probability for independent samples, p=0,05 and Analysis of Concordance, with Kappa coefficient of Cohen. About the childbirth expectation and what really happened, there was a moderate agreement, Kappa=0,42 (IC95%: 0,17 the 0,66), in the adolescents; the agreement was from very light to light one, Kappa=0, 22 (IC95%: 0,05 the 0,38), in the adults; "Caesarean request" represented 41.9% of adolescents and 43.3% of the adults. It was concluded that the unnecessary Caesarean incidence is high, the woman still sees it as "consumer good" , what demonstrates a need in the prenatal education, emphasizing the advantages of the normal childbirth, the nurse as a educator has to give assistance in this subject.
