Abstract

ABSTRACT: The heart failure physiopathology takes forward the exercising on risk for patients dying to die. We understand that the physical activities can reduce the damages of treatment through a movement education in health program. The patients in treatment do not take exercise physical activities; however, the movement is a human being need since birth. We believe that physical education makes difference for congestive heart failure patient motivation. The aim of this study was to know congestive heart failure patient profile in treatment at the Federal University of Goias Clinical Hospital, to indicate the relationship among physical activities with other modalities of behavior: food/alimentation, smoke, alcohols, age, sex, weight, mortality rate and family history. The methodological option was the descriptive study and data was collect from patient notes of 100 positive cases of congestive heart failure, inserted on Elite II group of the drug test program of the Medical Clinic. As result, it was possible to find that 99% does not practice physical activities. About 23% consumes Group IV food (flakes and derivates); 54% does not smoke; and 62% does not ingest alcohol drinks; 30% is from 60 to 70 years old; 51% is male; and 36% from 60 to 70 Kg weight; 38% does not to have familiar cardiologic history. Concluding, the necessity of detailed studies about variations interferences in congestive heart failure treatment searching better body performance and life quality.
