Nursing care systematization in the team perspective at teaching hospital

doi: 10.5216/ree.v12i4.8642The systematization of nursing care is on a methodology that involves people and tools enabling the operation of the nursing process. It is a descriptive, qualitative study that aimed to identify the facilities and difficulties of the implementation of nursing care systematization in the team perspective at teaching hospital in the Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The data were collected during August and September of 2008 through a semi structured interviews held with the nursing staff. The data were submitted to thematic of content analyses. The results pointed out the following categories: limitations of institution and professionals to implementation; possibilities to implementation and perspectives of the professionals from implementation. In this way, not only the technical and scientific resources but also the institutional conditions and the nursing team involvement are important to implementation process and to maintenance of the nursing care systematization. This has implication to the recognition of nursing professionals as powerful of the knowledge inherent to science of profession.
