Validação de jogo educativo para a discussão da comunicação terapêutica

This article aims to show the utilization of an educational game to stimulate considerations and group discussions about therapeutic communication in clinical settings in a general hospital in Cascavel, Paraná. Data was collected in 1999, between July and September. This is an exploratory participative study with qualitative reading of the data, was conducted though application of an educational game adapted from Stefanelli(1993), to a group of five nurses in meeting where the rules were explained. This game is composed of cards with messages to stimulate discussions about therapeutic communication, and though considerations and discussions made by the group was built a concept of therapeutic communication. It was possible to conclude that the utilization of a game was a valid strategy to stimulate critical thinking and considerations about therapeutic communication and this was evidenced in the evaluation conducted.
