Comprehensiveness in health care: a rescue of part of scientific production in the area

Abstract

This work has for objective to know different conceptions brought in part of the literature of the area concerning the comprehensiveness concept, that comes basing knowing and making in the context of cares to the collective health. For in such a way, we take as reference a clipping of literature in the period of 1990 the 2006. We evidence 04 axles of quarrel, being they: theoretician-philosophical, analysis/evaluation of the comprehensiveness in the collective health, the comprehensiveness as orientate principle to know and practical comprehensiveness and its conceptions in the care in health and the professional formation in the perspective of the integral attendance. We verify that the theoretical boarding of the studies concerning the comprehensiveness is not only to the attention in health in the different levels of complexity, but has propitiated the construction of new knowing and practical considering the techno-structural dimension of the services of health, the interpersonal relations and the processes of work.
