FATORES GERADORES DE SENTIMENTOS DO PACIENTE INTERNADO FRENTE AO CANCELAMENTO DE CIRURGIAS

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The hospitalization is not an agreeable experience, being worsened if surgical intervention becomes necessary. When the surgery is suspended, the person is subject to a larger discomfort, which can generate more anguish. The objective of this study was to identify the generating factors of expressed feelings for patients after the surgical cancellation. It is a descriptive research and qualitative approach, accomplished at a public hospital with patients that had their surgeries canceled. Data was collected by interviews which results were submitted to the thematic analysis. The results showed that the generating factors of feelings comes from to the patient's emotions and the operation of institution, being those last ones more frequent.
