O significado de visita domiciliar para usuários de um programa de Diálise Peritoneal Ambulatorial Contínua (CAPD) em Goiânia

Abstract

This study approaches the need and the importance of home visit by the user's meaning about the program of continuous peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). The objective was to know and to analyze the meaning of home visit for users of the program CAPD of a public general hospital in Goiânia. The data was collected through questionnaire application previously elaborated. The home visit developed by nurses has great importance for the user's of the program. Thus we concluded that the home visit in CAPD is a procedure that assists most of the users of that program, assisting to their needs, collaborating with a specialized treatment and of quality. The nurse educational activities is a fundamental factor to the implantation of the program guaranteeing to the continuity the quality of the treatment.
