This is a qualitative research, with characteristics of action research, happened between May and December of 2008. Data were collected through the preparation and presentation of posters by young people during the group activities, with the following themes: Meanings of healthy living; Knowledge of the human body, sexually transmitted diseases, sexuality and contraceptive methods. The data organized and analyzed using thematic analysis showed that the healthy living for young people is marked by the search for balance and harmony between living in a situation of social vulnerability and opportunities. The healthy living is reflected partly in the practice of sport, leisure, food habits and the cultivation of social welfare.Downloads
