Throughout history several researchers have shown that hand hygiene is an effective procedure to prevent infections associated with healthcare. However, adherence rates towards such practice are still low, which demonstrates that the information is not reaching its main goal, the behavior change. The aim of this paper is to show a strategy to incentive hand hygiene. Its premise is the relevance of hand hygiene to infections control. We elaborated stylized posters by an expert in graphic design. Publicizing of such posters was done as an interactive strategy with the healthcare team, which, in our view, can be used in different services.
