The experience of illness and the therapeutical itinerary experienced by a person with infarction

This study aims to understand the experience of the illness and the therapeutical itinerary in relation to experience of pain lived by a person with AMI sentinel event of the hypertension, proceeding from the municipality of Marcelândia in Mato Grosso/Brazil in multiple systems of care in health experienced by her in the search for attention to her health. The study was supported in the concepts of: integrity, experience of the illness, therapeutical itinerary and focus life’s history. The History of Focal Life was put into practice in the interview of depth, an attempt to apprehend the experience of pain lived by Ms. Florinda on her trajectory of illness between February and May of 2007. The discussion and analysis of the data allowed for the understanding of her experience at the time of pain, being marked by sociocultural components that determined her choices, initially the search for popular care, than, resisting the entrance in the professional sector, search for the "pharmacist", who has the task of directing her transition to the professional sector, and as a ritual process, then she enters in the professional system of health care.
