Bank of terms of the special language of nursing of the medical clinic

It is an exploratory-descriptive study that had as objective to build the Bank of Terms of the Special Language of Nursing at the Medical Clinic from the University Hospital Lauro Wanderley. Preceding its execution, the project was submitted to the appreciation of the Committee of Ethics in Research, having received a favorable view of its development. In the accomplishment of the research it was looked for to assist the procedures of the terminological methodology like: 1) identification and evaluation of specialized documentation; 2) thematic delimitation field of the terminological analysis; 3) establishment of trees of domain on the base of data; 4) elaboration of theoretical definitions for the constant terms and no constant in CIPE®; 5) validation of the terms and respective definitions that will constitute the Bank of Terms of the Special Language of Nursing at the Medical Clinic. The Result of this validation was that 242 have constant and 188 have no constant in CIPE® they reached an IC. 0.80 in what concerns the meaning in practice clinic. Its expected that the use of this Bank of terms allows the development of Diagnoses Nomenclatures and nursing Interventions, the job of the clinical reasoning, the individualization of the attendance, and, consequently, to impel the nurses to question and to modify their professional performance.
