Exposed women to HIV/AIDS: promoting life quality in the basic attention

Abstract

One of the specific objectives of the Program of Integral Attendance the Woman's Health is the amplification and clinical-gynecological qualification, besides to take care of the infection bearers for HIV and other DST's, through strategies that favor the invigoration of the basic attention. This study had the objective of analyzing the women's opinion, attended by PSF and CTA of the municipal district of Bayeux-PB, with relationship to the orientations supplied by professionals of health in relation to HIV/AIDS. I study exploratory of qualitative approach, accomplished in 2006, that counted with the 22 women's participation. The data were analyzed through the technique of the Collective Subject's Speech and presented in pictures. It identified that the women had age group varying between 19 and 60 years, and 82% referred to have the first incomplete degree. In agreement with the speeches it can be evidenced that is not having continuities in the orientation works on DSTs/AIDS in the basic attention; there was satisfaction as the orientations obtained in CTA; it identified impediments for the use of the preservative. It is believed that they need of attendance in educational spaces. Though, so that there is change in the professionals' assistential practices, it is primordial the team manager's involvement.
