Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished and isn't in the evaluation process to publication in another Journal; Otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments for the Editor".
  • The text follows the formating rules and bibliographic requisites described in Author Guidelines, in the About page.
  • Manuscript Format:
    • Format .doc ou .docx;
    • Paper Size A4;
    • Margins 2,5 cm;
    • Letter type Verdana 10 pt, in all the text;
    • Space 1,5 between lines in all the text;
    • Paragraphs aligned in 1,0 cm.
  • Illustrations (charts and images):
    • Tables or pictures (charts, graphs, flowcharts, images) are allowed up to 5 and must be inserted in the text immediately after being mentioned for the first time.
    • The titles need to be concise and precise, to indicate the place and year of the study said data it's referencing and presented above the chart.
  • Word Count:
    • Editorial: Limited to 1,200 words;
    • Original Article: Limited to 4,000 words, excepting illustrations content (charts and tables) and references.;
    • Review Article: Limited to 4,500 words, excepting illustrations content (charts and tables) and references.
    • Theoretical reflection: Limited to 2,500 words, not considering the content of illustrations (charts and tables) and references;
    • Experience Report: Limited to 2,500 words, not considering the content of illustrations (charts and tables) and references;
    • Short Communication: Limited to 2,000 words;
    • Letter to the Editor: Limited to 500 words;
    • Author’s answer: Limited to 500 words.
  • References Count:
    • Editorial: Limited to 10 references;
    • Original Article: Limited to 40 references;
    • Review Article: No limit on the reference count;
    • Theoretical reflection: Limited to 25 references;
    • Experience Report: Limited to 25 references;
    • Letter to the Editor: Limited to 3 references;
    • Author’s answer: Limited to 3 references.
