About the Journal

Mission, Aim and Scope

The Revista Eletrônica de Enfermagem - REE (ISSN 1518-1944 - digital version) is an open-access scientific journal published by the School of Nursing of the Federal University of Goiás (Brazil). The first issue was published in 1999, and currently it is affiliated with the Brazilian Association of Scientific Editors (Associação Brasileira de Editores Científicos - ABEC). The REE has been indexed in relevant national and international indexing databases.

The journal abbreviation is Rev. Eletr. Enferm., used in bibliographies, footnotes, and bibliographical references. 

The REE’s mission is to disseminate scientific research results in Nursing and others areas of interest to health professionals. 

The journal's aims to contribute to the growth and development of scientific knowledge in the Health and Nursing areas with sights on social development, welfare promotion, and quality of life in the community.  

The REE publications have as target audiences’ workers and researchers in the health area, including nurses, nutritionists, physical therapists, psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, and physicians, among others, besides managers of public policy.

This journal provides immediate open-access to its content, within the framework that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

The Revista Eletrônica de Enfermagem (REE) is licensed with a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International CC BY License that allows anyone to read, download, copy, and release its content, as well as to use the published information, as long as the source is credited. 

  • Copyright 

The copyright of the submitted and accepted manuscript will be transferred to the exclusive possession of Revista Eletrônica de Enfermagem. 

Archiving

The Revista Eletrônica de Enfermagem is part of the Cariniana Digital Preservation Network, organized by IBICT which utilizes the system LOCKSS.
