THE ENCHANTMENT OF ECOLOGY. RELIGIOUS CAPITALS IN MODERN ENVIRONMENTALISM

The environmental crisis and the secularisation of society is forcing religious institutions to develop new discourses more consistent with the postmodern culture and the socio-environmental dynamic. Equally, green thinking is becoming more complex due to the incorporation of moral values to its ideological decalogues and its practical actions. This implies the intrusion of religious capital in ecology, so secular and scientistic. It deals with a series of theoretical reflections on this dynamic, its history, and some of its causes and limits.
