Abstract
This article integrates debates on Labor and the Division of Labor in Geography, proposing a reading of Labor, Sexual Division of Labor (SDL), and Reproductive Work through the lens of Feminist Critical Theory. To this end, a bibliographical review was conducted, outlining the main postulates of both Karl Marx, concerning these concepts, and Milton Santos. Similarly, we updated the critical feminist literature , which critically engaged with and expanded upon these concepts, enabling a more comprehensive geographical analysis. This analysis incorporates intersections of social class, gender, and race/ethnicity, exploring the power dynamics inherent in the spaces occupied by men and women in capitalist societies. It reaffirms the relevance of this debate for Geography – in general in terms of the spatial reading of work across both macro- and micro-spatial scales.
