This article explores Henri Lefebvre's concept of space production, highlighting two of his essential principles: the spatial ontology of a relational characteristic and the perceived-conceived-lived spatial triad. Such developments - which are important in the philosopher's propositions - are hardly addressed from a fundamental aspect of his work. The first affirms reality as socially produced and the second practical engagement in the world as a permanent act of producing and creating that reality. Thus, this work proposes an approximation of Lefebvrian thought with Anthropology, examining a renewed right to the city, which inspires progressive, emancipatory and participatory practices in the face of contemporary urban challenges.
