Country and landscape themes are recurring themes in the cities and worlds of Drummondian poetry. In the interface of two books of his work, A Rosa do Povo (1945) and Claro Enigma (1950), the approximation between geographical space and literary space emerges sometimes from the author's egocentric relationship, sometimes from the multi-focal view of the reader who understands these spaces that are rather spaces of poetic creation. This article aims to present an essay on the theoretical approach of spaces from the point of view of landscape, memory and the context that makes up writing, but also reading, of poetry.
