The work aimed to analyze the water quality data of the River Jauquara Hydrographic Basin (RJHB) using multivariate statistics with Cluster Analysis (CA) and Factor Analysis / Principal Component Analysis (FA/PCA). A database with 21 sample points was acquired from May 2016 to July 2017, being divided into dry and rainy periods. The variables evaluated are: Hydrogenionic Potential (pH), Electrical Conductivity (EC), Chloride (Cl-), Calcium (Ca2+), Magnesium (Mg2+), Potassium (K+), Sodium (Na+), Hardness (Dur), Bicarbonate (HCO3-), Phosphorus (P), Nitrogen (N), and Dissolved Oxygen (OD). The results of CA reveal three predominant groups, and those of PCA, three main components, in which the highlighted element were HCO3-, Ca2+, Mg2+, Dur and CE in both dry and rainy periods. It was concluded that the contamination of water accumulations in the Jauquara River Basin is due to a set of environmental factors, whether these activities are anthropic and / or the dissolution of rock ions in water accumulations.
