Abstract

The surveys and analyses presented in this paper are related to Brazilian territorial planning. In this context, the structures and geographic distribution of the Brazilian aerodromes were studied as important elements of this process of planning. The relations between airport structures, social issues, processes of production, were researched throughout the work, linked to an overview of applied laws. Furthermore, maps were produced from different databases. The concession of public airports, intensified in the country since 2011, were contextualized as technical and political issues of the Brazilian Aviation. Subsequently, as a basis for the logic of national territorial planning discussed here.
