Author Guidelines

The work must be saved in the MS Word format. Metadata must include the title, name(s) of the author(s), most recent academic degree, work institution, work address, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail address. Text length may vary from 10 to 20 pages for papers, and from 5 to 10 pages for reports. Papers must be submitted in Portuguese or Spanish. Both the title and the abstract should be written in three languages: 1) Portuguese; 2) English; and 3) Spanish or French. The abstract must not exceed 200 words or be machine-translated. Authors should use 3-4 keywords closely related to the content of the paper, all of which must also be written in three languages. Underneath the title, the author's institutional affiliations should be included: full name, institution, state, city, country and e-mail address. Authors are recommended to have their texts and abstracts reviewed by experts. Use double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman. Lower and upper margins must measure 2 and 2,5 cm, respectively, and left and right margins must measure 3 and 2,5 cm, respectively. The text is to be divided into non-numbered sections, and has to include introductory and conclusion sections. Figures (e.g. drawings, graphics, maps, charts, photographs and chromes) and respective keys should be preferably sent in colour for better viewing, and should not exceed 12cm x 16cm. Files must be saved in CorelDraw, TIF or EPS format.

If the research was financed by a funding agency, authors must include a note at the end of the paper stating the kind of incentive received (e.g. funding for master's or doctorate degree), the type of agency (e.g. federal, state, municipal or international agencies, as well as private enterprises), as well as the period during which funding was received.

References must be in accordance with ABNT's NBR-6023 (August 2002).
