SPACE, ENVIRONMENT, URBAN SPACE AND TERRITORY IN THE KNOWLEDGE PRODUCTION ABOUT ENVIRONMENTAL CRISIS

Abstract

In the scope of the present assay, it is intended to analyze the slight knowledge of space, nature, territory and urban space, and the goal is demonstrate the environmental thematics in the target of this conceptual configuration. In this trajectory, an effort will be carried through to put in context the evolution of these concepts and its relation with the environmental question, having for base institutional landmarks in Brazil, in the last few decades, and important documents that they bring the quarrel on sustainable cities. And, finally, the text will look for to approach the new related theoretician-conceptual boardings to the space and the territory, the nature and the urban space, in order to find subsidies that contribute for a critical revision of the knowledge production on the call environmental crisis, such considered which in the scope of the mater dissertation of the author. As conclusion, it is considered that such references cannot be underconsidered in the analysis of the transformations of the nature - also called “ambient”. It is essential, in the production of this type of knowledge, to take in consideration the space dimensions and territorial present in the environmental question.
