Abstract

This article aims to analyze the empirical and theoretical contributions of Brazilian studies dealing with Local Productive Arrangements in tourist regions in Brazil, with reference to the period between 2010 and 2023. To this end, we opted for a bibliographic and content analysis of fourteen articles published in Brazilian journals and events from 2010 to 2023. We usedtheIraMuteq software to apply lexical analysis of the content discussed in the conclusions of these articles, which were selected from the CAPES platform. The articles were grouped into six clusters which addressed the importance of Local Productive Arrangements in strengthening tourism production chains in Brazil and which indicated challenges in thetourism models, namely difficulty in innovating, seasonality and lack of cooperation and interaction between local players. Tourism LPAs have emerged as an effective strategy for mitigating the effects of these obstacles and promoting regional and local development.
