Abstract

In order to include/understand how the llanero territory of Venezuela is structured, it has been left from the consideration of the economic practices like the distinctive elements of its dynamics. For that reason two space models were analyzed: one of being able related to the appropriation of the wealth of level and its products of export and the other of refuge like arrival space from which they flee from the control system from the colonial time, based on the subsistence and the autonomy. Both models nevertheless compete by the space and the resources of the level one and, although at certain moments one seems to dominate itself the other, both persist in the time and the llanera population assigns itself to each one of them. Key words: Llano, territory, space.
