Agribusiness, peasantry and territorialisation specificities of money in Goiás

Abstract

This article is about recent advances of agribusiness in Goiás, and the concentrative and selective nature of this process. The main aim was to demonstrate that the financing policies of activities set that make up agribusiness support the expansion occurred in the state in the last decades in opposition to the peasant production expansion. In order to support reflections aspects presented, data on agricultural production were analyzed, as well as the allocation of public resources for agroindustries financing, which lead to production expansion of commodities in the state of Goiás. Resources are concentrated in hegemonic sectors in relation to the peasantry, as well as the concentration of investments in south-central Goiás, increasing regional and social inequalities.
