Abstract

The aim of this paper is to understand how agro-ecological speech has been appropriated by the capital and commodified by the resignified organic agriculture (with capitalized and corporatist traits), following a market-based, mechanized and chemified agriculture model. Furthermore, this study aims to understand how technical and political information are currently linked to organic agriculture. For this purpose, literature review and data analysis from secondary sources were performed. Thus, a contribution to the understanding of capital strategies that are dedicated to producing and reproducing capital in a large scale, considering its selective and uneven features, is presented. In addition, this study also contemplates the speech of environment protection and the defense of agro-ecological practices coupled with communication and information systems and normative processes of certification and productive conduction.
