Abstract

The study aimed to identify what species of fish caught irregularly in Chacororé and Siá Mariana Bays. It created a database in the form of tables in Access software, version II, where then is extracted graphs and tables necessary for the performance of the work. Thus, the data were interplod in ArcGis software version 9.2. Finalizations and final adjustments were made in the software version CorelDraw X3. It is shown that nineteen fish’s species whish belonging to the watersheds of Paraguay, Amazon and Araguaia, have been captured irregularly, featuring environmental crimes, particularly in the basin of the river Paraguay and therefore in the Pantanal weed-Grosso. It noted that the counties with the highest reported cases of seizures of fish were: Baron of Melgaço, Cuiaba, St. Anthony of Leverger and Varzea Grande, all located in the basin of the river Paraguay, with amounts ranging from 2001 to 4.351kg. The results of the analysis and interpretation showed that the fish Pintado Pseudoplatystoma corruscans and Cachara (Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum) are the most species caught by fishing predatory.
