Abstract

At present time the environmental conditions have been lashed by diverse socioeconomic, cultural impacts and in certain political causes. The ecosystem at central Cuba, well-known as Escambray or Guamuhaya, in which coffee, livestock, and many other agricultural productions have traditionally been developed biggest results, received influences of modern approaches and models, crossed by urban and global culture, increasing its fragility. So the issues about government and sustainability are closed to these concepts too. From these points of view are built some reflections to explain the relationship among position of the government, decisions maker, and sustainability, taking in account the influences of the global process in human behaviours. It is concluded that isn´t enough the best intentions in actions but it is necessary to joint willingness in a real participatory system and coherent perspective.
