Abstract

This essay aims at verifying the production in Agrarian Geography in Brazil, after 1990, which highlights the studies of political characteristics and the theoretical methodological trends. The sources consulted were nine scientific journals of Geography between the years 1991 and 2009. It is remarkable the raise in those studies which use political approaches and the multiplicity of methodological concepts in the researches in the Agrarian Geography in the early 21st century, which proves the need of interdisciplinary studies, which are not centered in an unique focus.
