Abstract

The configuration of space center of Kourou, city of French Guiana in Pan-Amazon, is marked by cohabitation with ethnic differences, creating a controversial relationship and sometimes litigious. In this context, the spatialities of the ethnic groups of Kourou are appropriated by representations and symbologies rooted in the collective memory which provides a concret referential element of apprehension of the identity feeling : the territory.
