This performative lecture atr (an abbreviation used in Rio de Janeiro slang for “at full speed”) presents the doctoral artistic research project Conflicted Embodiment, whose central figure is the dancer/performer-researcher. As the project is based at Stockholm University of the Arts, specific issues related to the author's migration process from the global south to the global north (from Argentina/Chile to Belgium and then to Sweden) will also be presented.
