Contemporary Dance Archives in Araucanía/Wallmapu: Documents, Testimonies, and Creative Processes (2000-2023) This is a research project on performing arts archives corresponding to creative productions and contemporary choreographic research in the Araucanía region of southern Chile. It covers the period from 2000 to 2023. It revisits the documentary traces, records, images, and testimonies of 10 creators who developed and exhibited dance works in the region. The main objective is to identify and collect documentation related to these processes, as well as to learn about, analyze, and systematize the documentary traces of creative processes/works, from their organization, appreciation, and exhibition, proposing an overview of contemporary dance creation in the region. Through a series of actions, they will seek to organize the documentary materials found, in a process consisting of different stages of work with an interdisciplinary team of researchers. All with the result of a digital publication that acts as a container/activator of documents, dissemination of content, and the project.
