The project Tecido Möbius – Tecimento de recicláveis na costura performativa analyzes the treatment of plastic and textile materials according to the performative conception of the theater scene that connects art and community practice. This project makes critical considerations about the imposition of polluting materials such as plastics and textiles that daily contaminate the life of human societies and the environment. The questioning is directed to the technologies of production and economy that from the 20th century to the present day continue to promote polluting and depreciation work practices in this third decade of the 21st century. The performative sewing in question connects the scene to popular communities with the aim of promoting reflections and actions related to new production processes in the food and clothing sectors, according to the alliance made between art, handicraft, culture and scientific technology. This research is theoretically based on the analyzes of Giulio Carlo Argan in Arte e Crítica de Arte and the studies of Fritjof Capra in O Tao da Física.
