Abstract

This article discusses the concepts of space elaborated by Art critic Alberto Tassinari and investigates how such concepts help us to understand the reflections of Hélio Oiticica in Aspiro ao Grande Labirinto. Through the concepts “space in work", "space of the work" and "space of the world in common", Tassinari seeks to understand the developments of modern spatiality in the twentieth century. From the ideas of Tassinari, this article seeks to assimilate the intention of Oiticica to provide immersions in the spatiality of his work. It also considers a brief contextualization of his production in the national and international scenario of his time.

Arquiteta e Urbanista. Mestre em Arquitetura e Urbanismo (FAUeD/UFU-MG, 2017-2019). Pós-graduada em Geoprocessamento (SENAC/SP, 2012) e Gestão Ambiental (UFSCar/SP, 2006). Graduada em Arquitetura e Urbanismo (UFV/MG, 1999).

Luis Eduardo dos Santos Borda, Universidade Federal de Uberlândia

Pós-Doutorado pela USP (2014). Doutorado em Artes pela USP (2003). Mestrado em História Social da Cultura pela PUC-RJ (1994). Graduado em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela UFPel-RS (1984). Professor Associado 4 da Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo e Design (FAUeD) da UFU-MG e professor permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Arquitetura e Urbansimo da FAUeD-UFU. Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: Arquitetura, Arte, Modernismo e Oscar Niemeyer.

Marco Antonio Pasqualini de Andrade, Universidade Federal de Uberlândia

Pós-Doutorado pela UFRJ (2018). Doutorado em Artes pela USP (2007). Mestrado em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela USP (1999). Graduado em Arquitetura pela USP (1989). Membro do Comitê Brasileiro de História da Arte (CBHA) e associado a Latin American Studies Association (LASA) e Association of Art Historians (AAH). Professor Adjunto do Instituto de Artes da UFU/MG. Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: arte contemporânea brasileira e internacional, arte na região do Triângulo Mineiro e entorno, crítica de arte, apresentação e curadoria de exposições de arte, história da arquitetura moderna e contemporânea.
