About the Journal
Objective and Scope
Jatobá Journal is a publication bond to the Post-Graduate Program “Project and City” and to the Visual Arts Faculty of Samambaia Campus, Federal University of Goiás – UFG -. It was launched in early 2019, in its exclusively online format.
Jatobá Journal will dedicate its expertise to the national and international debate on the PLANNING, PROJECT, THEORY, HISTORY AND CRITIQUES fields in Architecture and Urbanism. It will be done in order to seek a multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary approach among the following knowledge fields: Geography, History, Social and Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Arts and Philosophy, with emphasis on originality. Furthermore, the aim of the journal is to promote and encourage the investigation about, and the creation of, cooperation networks in the country and abroad.
Jatobá Journal adopts the continuous publication approach, with one volume per year and, approximately, 25 articles per publication. Its publication started in August, 2019. Authors must fulfil the Guidelines for Authors to submit their articles. All articles will be analyzed in plagiarism checker software. All authors must have ORCID and when researchers in Brazil present ORCID and LATTES. Published articles will have DOIs validated later.
Furthermore, Revista Jatobá, aware of its responsibility to publish reliable research, follows the ethics and conduct guidelines for those mainly involved in this process: authors, reviewers, editors and editorial board with good practice guidelines and guidelines , relying on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Therefore, we also recommend reading the Guidelines on good publishing practices (COPE). Thus, Revista Jatobá seeks to achieve ethical standards in publications.
Open Access Policy
Jatobá Journal has open access and does not charge APC fees. As there is no APC charge, readers and authors are exempt from paying fees for submission and publication in Revista Jatobá.

The authors hold the copyright to their texts without restriction. The names and addresses provided to this journal will be used exclusively for the services provided by this publication and will not be made available for other purposes or to third parties.
