Breast cancer is one of the main causes of death for women worldwide, in Brazil the reality is no different. Identifying risk factors and analyzing the effect of treatments on patients' lives are extremely important for a better understanding of this disease. In this paper, aims to analyze the proportion of women who survive for a long period of time after being diagnosed with breast cancer. For that, it makes use of statistical models that allow to accommodate such characteristics. The data analyzed are from patients who were diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer and underwent chemotherapy at the A.C.Camargo Cancer Center. Some factors that influence the determination of the cure rate are identified. It is noted that women who initially have a better prognosis exhibit a greater chance of surviving for a long period of time, thus indicating the need to expand the screening and early diagnosis of breast cancer.
