Abstract

Aedes albopictus Skuse,1894 larvae were found on Sino beach, Marambaia island
in the Center of Instruction Marambaia Island (CIMI), Mangaratiba, RJ, in an artificial container (a plastic cup) on a stone at the seaside, emphasizing the epidemic
and ecological importance of this finding.
