A DOUBLE AND PARADOXICAL ROLE FOR ANGIOGENESIS
Keywords:

Fibrogenesis and fibrolysis are constant and important features occurring during the pathology of schistosomiasis. New findings have recently indicated that granulation tissue (angiogenesis) is a dominating feature on both occasions. This review article discusses this apparently paradoxical feature displayed by angiogenesis (granulation tissue) during the pathology of schistosomiasis.Downloads
