Abstract

As leptospiroses, melhor que leptospirose, são um grupo de doebças de animais inferiores que acometem ocasionalmente o homem, sob certas condições e em caráter endémico ou epidêmico, tendo roedores como principais reservatórios.
Seus agentes etiológicos, as leptospiras, se classificam entre as
bactérias» na ordem Spirochaetales, família Treponemataceae, gênero Leptospira (Bergey).
